Investigative journalists Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp have obtained and are releasing an official Military Police blotter from Vandenberg Space Force Base, provided by Air Force veteran Jeff Nuccetelli, detailing a series of extraordinary encounters with unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) referred to as the "Red Square" UFO events.
Vandenberg Space Force Base, located on California's central coast, has long been a critical hub for U.S. military and aerospace innovation, renowned for its missile and rocket launches and its role in developing advanced defense technologies. The base has also been a focal point for some of the most striking and well-documented UFO incidents in American history.
Nuccetelli, a former military police officer stationed at Vandenberg for several years, was directly involved in investigating a wave of incursions by massive, unidentified craft. Among the most startling events he documented was the appearance of an enormous, glowing red square-shaped object that maneuvered slowly over the base’s highly sensitive, restricted airspace.
According to the official report, one notable incident occurred when a group of Boeing contractors working near a launch facility observed a colossal UAP—described as a 100-yard-wide, red, square-shaped object—approaching from the Pacific Ocean. The craft hovered at a low altitude directly above Launch Facility 21, a site tied to top-secret operations. Witnesses described the object as both awe-inspiring and unsettling.
The Red Square sighting marked the beginning of a series of similar incidents involving large, square-shaped UAPs breaching Vandenberg’s airspace. The Military Police blotter, now made public for the first time, provides an official account of these encounters, shedding light on a chapter of the base’s history that has long been shrouded in mystery.
